Abstract
The structure 2-methoxy-3-bis(hydroxymethyl)methylamino-5-hydroxy-5-hydroxymethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-one has been attributed to mycosporine, a product isolated from Stereum hirsutum (Willd. ex Fr.) Fr. This result was derived from the UV, IR, mass spectra and NMR of 1H and 13C spectral analysis of the natural product and its derivatives. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
