Abstract
Two cases of severe illness occurred following the intravenous injection of marihuana. Injection produces immediate severe body tremors with tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Diffuse aching pains, hypotension, non-oliguric renal failure, thrombocytopenia, and leukopenia follow. In the cases we saw, all changes have been reversible. Keywords
