Abstract
The rabbit''s eye in the unexeited state is more hypermetropic concurrently with dilatation of the pupil. Return of the lens to the normal resting condition parallels the course of constriction of the pupil to the diam. of the unexeited state. Homatropine increases the degree of hypermetropia over that of the normal eye, and excitement still further increases the hypermetropia. This is taken as evidence of sympathetic innervation of the ciliary muscle. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
