Abstract
Summary Bimiti virus is a new agent isolated from Culex mosquitoes collected in the Melajo Forest of Trinidad. Its isolation, identification and behavior in various animals and tissue culture are reported. Limited studies disclose a very low incidence of immunity to this virus in the human population of Trinidad.Keywords
