Abstract
The ability of the cerebral circulation to maintain a constant level of cerebral blood flow with halothane-induced hypotension and angiotensin-induced hypertension was found to be impaired one week after subarachnoid haemorrhage in the baboon. No evidence of hypoxic brain damage was found. The clinical significance of these findings is discussed. Keywords
