Abstract
A simple transversely excited N2laser of novel electrical design, working at relatively high pressure and only 45-cm active length, has been constructed. It produces about 0.5 mJ/pulse of UV radiation at 337 nm and has a peak power in excess of 200 kW. Optimization data and parameters of the excitation circuit are presented. Keywords
