Abstract
In the coordinate representation it is possible to get a neat and exact expression for scattering phase shifts assuming the scattering potential to be nonlocal but separable. It is shown in this paper that such a formulation is still useful even when the Coulomb potential is included in the nonlocal Schrödinger equation. As an illustration, the effective-range parameters for scattering have been obtained.
