Hall effect in quantum wires

Abstract
Calculations of the Hall resistance of quasi-one-dimensional electron systems on a GaAs/ As heterointerface are performed. It is shown in a weak-link model of Hall probes that the Hall resistance strongly depends on the way the total current is divided among subbands.
