Correlations in the Two-Particle Inclusive Reactionsπ±+pπ+π+ Anything

Abstract
We present rapidity distributions for the one- and two-particle inclusive reactions π+pπ + anything and π+pπ+π + anything at 8 and 18.5 GeVc, and π++pπ + anything and π++pπ+π + anything at 18.5 GeVc. The two-particle correlation functions for these reactions are observed to show strong dependence on the rapidities of the final-state particles and on the nature and momentum of the incident particle. Systematic variations in these correlation functions are discussed.
