Abstract
Vinyl chloride (VC) is determined in vinegars and alcoholic beverages by gas-liquid chromatographic headspace analysis. The lower limit of detection is 10 ppb and confirmation by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, single ion monitoring at m/e 62, is possible at this level. Comparison of the headspace and the direct injection methods for the determination of VC in vinegars and alcoholic beverages showed that the results obtained by the 2 methods were not significantly different (P>0.05).This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
