Abstract
A marked release of renin was observed as early as 3 min. after incubation at 25[degree] and 37[degree]C, and about 10% of renin contained in the original slices was released into incubation media during the period of 30 to 60 min. At low temperatures (0[degree] and 4[degree]C) renin was released in a very small amount. The release of renin depended upon pH of the incubation medium used, the highest release being at pH 5 in a range from pH 5 to pH 9.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
