Abstract
We derive a simple dimensional relation on the canonical energy-momentum tensor. This relation is used to express the deficiency of the scale invariance. It is shown that the scale transformation is not compatible with the Lorentz covariance in some cases which lie within the framework of the renormalizable field theory. Keywords
