Abstract
This paper considers the problem of predicting the effective rate of production of an autoconer with N winding heads, arranged on a circular drum, and serviced by a robot knotter. The problem arises in the context of a textile winding process, and the results are of value in maintaining controls over the process. They are also useful in predicting the outcome of modifications to the design of the autoconer and its repair procedure. Keywords
