Palmar GSR was studied as a function of various CS (light) = US (shock) time intervals. Mean and median extinction trials showed that maximum conditioning was obtained with the .5 sec. interval with sharply decreasing amounts of conditioning for the other delay intervals, and "nothing but pseudoconditioning is obtained with the GSR if the interval of delay is 1 sec. or more." 19 references.
