Human Toxocara canis encephalopathy in a case of visceral larva migrans

Abstract
The case of a 2-year-old boy is reported in which clinical and pathological evidence of an encephalitis was associated with cerebral involvement by Toxocara canis without notable eosinophilia. The effects of this parasite are considered to be the probable cause of death.
