Abstract
The current through a high temperature, high density helium arc plasma was removed in approximately 1 mu s and the subsequent plasma decay observed. Various spectroscopic methods of measuring electron temperature were investigated. The results were then used to deduce Collisional-Radiative recombination coefficients of He and He+ as functions of electron temperature. Dissociative recombination coefficients for He2+ were also obtained. Keywords
