Abstract

Methoxycarbene, acetylene, and acetylide cationic platinum(II) complexes have been isolated from reactions of trans-PtClMeQ₂, where Q PMe₂Ph or AsMe₃, with R¹C CR² and silver hexafluorophosphate in the presence of methanol.
