Abstract
Pairs of words, nonsense syllables, and consonant syllables of different degrees of meaningfulness were rated under 2 different sets of instructions: the degree of similarity of meaning of the 2 items in a pair and rating based on how fast S thought he could learn the pair. The correlation between the ratings was .96. The 223 pairs of items and their ratings are presented. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)Keywords
