Carcinoma of the Prostate GlandThe treatment of cancer of the prostate gland by attacking the endocrine balance of the patient rests on firmer physiologic grounds, is better understood and yields more predictable results than the hormonal treatment of mammary carcinoma. The past six years have permitted a relatively long-term follow-up of the first patients treated by these methods, as well as an opportunity to study large series of cases.
