Abstract
Wireless transmission of uncompressed lossless HD video provides higher image quality with lower latency and cost than compressed-content transmission. however, it requires data rates of about 4 Gbps for 1080p resolution, exceeding the capabilities of existing wireless technologies. using the 60-GHZ band as detailed by the wirelessHD specification, SlBeam's chipset makes such data rates economically achievable. Keywords
