Abstract
O. palustris and O. p. natator were exposed percutaneously to 150 and 250 cercariae of Schistosoma mansoni. Viable eggs of S. mansoni were first found in the feces 7-9 weeks after exposure. Egg passage continued until the termination of the expt. 41 weeks after exposure when the animals were sacrificed. The avg. worm recovery was 2.79% in the animals exposed to 150 cercariae and 1.71% in the animals exposed to 250 cercariae. Keywords
