Abstract
An expression is derived for the dependence of the electrical resistivity on both long- and short-range order and composition. The effects of static atomic and thermally induced displacements are included and found to affect only the short-range order term. The effects of inhomogeneous order are also discussed and the behaviour found to depend upon the dimensions of the ordered regions compared to the electron mean free path. Keywords
