Abstract
Detoxified urine from lactating and amenor-rheic patients was injected into virgin mice with the result that estrus was suppressed. The M. E. D. to inhibit at least 3 cycles was 3 bird units. Suppression lasted as long as 50 days with dosages of 16 B. U. daily. Microscopic examination of ovaries removed during induced diestrus revealed structural changes.
