Abstract
This report documents the occurrence of Ceratomyxa shasta in mature summer chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) in the South Fork Salmon River, Idaho, in 1984 and notes the parasite's possible contribution to prespawning mortalities in this stock of fish.
