Abstract
[female] rats were treated 6 times weekly throughout pregnancy with fresh immature rat thymus. The thymus tissue was ground in a mortar, suspended in 1 cc. saline and injected subcut. Such treatment, continued throughout 4 successive generations failed to produce a significant acceleration of growth and developmental rates in the offspring of the treated animals. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
