Abstract
Dispersion relations for magnetoplasmons are derived for both type-I and type-II superlattice systems within the simple model in which thickness of individual charged layers is neglected. The magnetic field is taken to be in the direction of the superlattice growth, and coupling to LO phonons is retained in the theory. General equations valid within the random-phase approximation are derived, and analytic results correct up to second order in two-dimensional wave number are obtained for the magnetoplasmon dispersion. Keywords
