Abstract
Solutions of the Faddeev equations for Coulomb potentials are investigated. A method which is of practical use for solving the Faddeev equations below the three-particle breakup threshold is developed. As an example, the method is applied to the (e, H) system in which the bound state and the lowest members of the resonances in both the singlet and the triplet series are calculated. The results are in good agreement with the experimental measurements and previous calculations which used conventional methods.
