Abstract
The price difference between milk products and concentrates is resulting in less milk/milk products being fed to calves in the rearing stage. It may be that lower milk intakes at least in some systems of calf rearing are resulting in low performance in early life which in turn could be affecting lifetime performance of animals, particularly those kept for beef production. Keywords
