Abstract
The authors have presented a surgical procedure for disruption of the acromioclavicular joint with or without fracture of the lateral end of the clavicle. The results of the dynamic repairs have been excellent with restoration of stability and normal strength in all cases. The majority of this group were vigorous young high school college and professional athletes prior to their injury and all were returned to their previous activities. Keywords
