Traumatic Hematobilia

Abstract
A case of traumatic hematobilia is reported in a 2-year-old girl who showed clinical features of delayed, recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding following trauma. Preoperative diagnosis is possible by noting the characteristic finding on abdominal angiography of a traumatic aneurysm of the hepatic artery. Oblique angiograms determine the exact location for subsequent surgery. The appropriate treatment of hematobilia is surgical excision of the involved portion of the liver.
