Abstract
The multiconfiguration relativistic random-phase approximation is applied to photoionization of the Be atom. Angular distribution and spin polarization of photoelectrons from subshells 2, 2, and 2 are presented and compared with other theories. Subshell cross sections near the 2 threshold are found to be sensitive to the initial-state correlations.
