Abstract
The three-level system interacting with two strong near-resonant monochromatic fields is treated. The relationship between the coherent dynamics of the system and the multi-component structure of the scattered light spectra is investigated. The authors show that a reduction of the component number in the scattered light spectrum is always accompanied by periodical oscillations of one or more level populations. Keywords
