Abstract
Antinuclear factor was present in the serum of more than one-fourth of 32 patients admitted to the psychiatric hospital because of mental depression. It appears that a positive antinuclear factor may be a rather common finding in endogenous depressions and the present data suggest that the presence of this serum factor is of unfavourable prognostic significance. Keywords
