Abstract
Sources of error may occur in fluoresceine photography due to primary fluorescence of other ocular tissues, particularly of the sclera and the conjunctiva. These mistakes can be avoided by careful ophthalmoscopy using red and blue sources of light. Comparison of histological with ophthalmological findings is discussed. Keywords
