Abstract
Previously developed results on the statistical error due to finite time averaging in computer experiments are applied to the number density and kinetic-energy density autocorrelation functions for liquid sodium. It is concluded that the theoretical estimate given by Zwanzig and Ailawadi forms a good basis for analysis of the error involved in computation of time correlation functions in molecular dynamics. Keywords
