Abstract
Piscichnus brownii n. gen. and sp. is described from the Plio-Pleistocene Koobi Fora Formation of northern Kenya. The trace fossil is an unornamented, shallow, dish-shaped structure preserved in concave epirelief on sandstones. This structure is interpreted to result from the nest-excavating activities of fish. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
