Abstract
2′,3′-Dideoxyinosine (ddI) is a dideoxynucleoside with potent activity in vitro against the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). In initial clinical trials in adults, ddI showed evidence of antiretroviral activity with little hematologic toxicity.Keywords
