Abstract
The uptake of radioactive P in the presence and absence of vit. B12 was studied. B12 increased the P incorporation, as measured in the total cell, the acid insoluble fraction and the desoxyri-bosenucleic acid fraction, the effect being particularly noticeable in the latter. These observations are in accord with the concept that vit. B12 is involved in nucleic acid synthesis. Keywords
