Abstract
This paper is concerned with saturation representation refinements for more precise modeling of synchronous machines. A nonsalient synchronous machine model is derived by the extension of Kron's twa transformations to the nonlinear case. Examples of numerical simulation are given to verify the model and its applications. Keywords
