Abstract
A Giemsa staining technique has been applied to the somatic chromosomes of the inbreeding diploid grass Lolium temulentum (2n = 14). Bands appear in six of the seven pairs and are associated either with the centromere or secondary constriction. An idiogram of the chromosomes with their banding patterns is presented. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
