Abstract
Gave a posthypnotic suggestion to 20 female undergraduates, selected as excellent hypnotic ss, under 2 apparently different conditions. Ss in the experimental condition were administered the suggestion (from the stanford hypnotic susceptibility scale form c and profile scale and the barber suggestibility scale) after a standardized "hypnotic" induction. Ss in the control condition received the same suggestion after a set of task motivational instructions. The suggestion given within the context of the procedure labeled "hypnosis" appeared to be more effective. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)Keywords
