Iron-titanium oxide minerals in comagmatic rocks of Koraput, Orissa

Abstract
The rocks are alkaline gabbros, calc-alkaline syenites, and nepheline syenites; ulvoespinel, magnetite, and ilmenomagnetite are the iron-titanium oxide minerals. Analysis of mineralogic variations and textural evolution in the oxide minerals with advancing differentiation shows a gradual increase of iron oxides accompanied by a decrease in magnesium, and a decrease of titanium relative to iron oxides.
