Abstract
Two new Diels–Alder adducts of C60 have been prepared from 1,3-diphenylisobenzofurn and the ortho-quinodimethane generated from 1,4-dihydroxy-2,3-bis(bromomethyl)anthraquinone: the dihydroxy anthraquinone–C60 adduct readily undergoes deprotonation to give the corresponding dianion.Keywords
