Abstract
Low-energy electrons, emitted from a point source and scattered by a thin semitransparent carbon membrane placed at some hundreds of nanometers from the source, produce a hologram of the membrane on a screen placed 10 cm behind the membrane. These holograms are observed at different energies from 100 eV down to 7 eV. Comparisons with conventional high-energy-electron transmission micrographs of the same objects show that a hologram of a 3-nm Au crystal can be obtained. Keywords
