To the Editor:— In the November 1942 issue of the Archives of Dermatology and Syphilology, there appears an article, "Pathogenesis of Synovial Lesions of the Skin," by Drs. Alfred Eliassow and Samuel B. Frank. On page 693 is the following statement: "We have felt, therefore, that a better understanding of the problem could be obtained from a roentgenogram taken immediately after the injection of a contrast fluid into the lesion. A search of the literature does not reveal any observation made with this method." I wish to call attention to an article, "Ganglion-X-Ray Study and Treatment," which I read in the section on Dermatology and Syphilology of the Southern Medical Association at the twenty-fifth annual meeting, New Orleans, Nov. 18, 1931.
