Abstract
The preparation of a series of new metallic soaps of the monoethenoid fatty acids is described. Compounds of selected transition elements with cis‐ and trans‐monoethenoid fatty acids have been prepared and their properties studied. The catalytic influence of these soaps on the autoxidation of monoethenoid acids at high temperatures has been investigated, particularly the special effect of configuration of the acid radical of the catalyst soap on autoxidation processes. Keywords
