Abstract
A case of vaginal avulsion complicating compression-type fracture of the pelvis is reported. It is a very rare injury. Although cases of rectal and anal avulsions have been described previously, we have so far not seen any comparable vaginal lesion mentioned. The likely mode of causation has been discussed. Keywords
