Abstract
A new type of pressure gauge using relaxor ferroelectrics such as the Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3-Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 ternary solid solution is described, which reveals a sensitive pressure characteristic of permittivity. This device is much less expensive than conventional gauges and is very compact. Keywords
