Abstract
The proton NMR spectra of toluene recorded with and without decoupling of the methyl resonance have been completely analyzed in terms of chemical shifts and coupling constants. The procedures for the analyses of the spectra are illustrated, the results of the different calculations are compared, and the values of the spectral parameters obtained are discussed. Keywords
