Abstract
Of 21 refractory depressed patients, 7 responded within 7 days to combined thyroid hormone-antidepressant treatment. Of the 7 responders, 5 revealed evidence of subclinical hypothyroidism, suggesting that this subpopulation of depressed patients may benefit most from adjunctive thyroid hormone. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
